Choosing a Bothell Realtor: Local Property Details and a Clear Negotiation Plan

Choosing a Bothell real estate agent starts with the property and the decisions you need to make. Ask for an explanation of the local comparisons, the information still to verify and the process from your first conversation through closing.
I am Chandra Kaladhar Vennapusa with eXp Realty. I help Bothell buyers and sellers evaluate their options, prepare for negotiations and plan the next steps. These are the questions I welcome in an agent interview.
Start with the actual address
A mailing address or neighborhood label is not enough to establish every property detail. Ask which jurisdiction and county records apply, how to confirm school assignment, and where to verify permits or planned changes. Use the responsible agency for the answer that matters to your property.
For everyday convenience, compare the actual route to work and other regular destinations. A city-wide description cannot tell you how a particular address will fit your schedule.
If you are selling, ask how buyers will compare your home
A defensible pricing discussion explains the alternatives a buyer can choose now, alongside relevant completed sales. Condition, layout, presentation and the timing of those transactions all deserve attention.
Ask what work should happen before photography and what is unlikely to justify its cost. Agree on how you will receive showing feedback and when the plan will be reconsidered. Your agent should explain the reasoning behind a recommendation so you can make an informed decision.
If you are buying, compare resale and new construction carefully
A new home and a resale home can create different questions about completion timing, inspections, included features and immediate maintenance. Compare what is actually included before deciding which option represents better value for your circumstances.
If a builder offers incentives, request the complete terms and ask your lender to explain the financing comparison. Discuss representation early and confirm who each professional represents. Important commitments should be understood before you sign.

My documented production and what it measures
In the 2026 RealTrends Verified Washington individual-agent ranking by sales volume, I am ranked No. 10 statewide. My RealTrends profile reports $83.78 million in sales volume and 71 transaction sides, based on 2025 sales data. These are annual production figures across my business; they are not totals for Bothell alone.
For 2024 production, I was recognized as eXp Realty’s No. 1 individual agent in the United States by sales volume. The official announcement, published March 24, 2025 reports $101,252,631 in sales volume and 98 transaction sides. This recognition is specific to eXp Realty’s U.S. individual-agent sales-volume category.
Within that RealTrends profile, my Bothell rankings are No. 1 by transaction sides and No. 2 by volume. These are production rankings for the stated period; they do not mean every reported transaction occurred within Bothell or establish a particular client outcome.
